Text Box: 2011 ALABAMA TORNADO RELIEF April 2011deadly tornadoes stormed across the southeast, hitting Alabama the hardest, with a death toll of 255 as of Saturday April 28, 2011. The death toll from tornadoes has not been this high since 1925. We are working with local governments and support organizations in any way possible to support the residents of Alabama most affected by these catastrophic storms. Any support you can provide could change the future for these unfortunate victims. The most needed resource is hands-on support to facilitate any combination of recovery efforts where they are needed most. If you are unable to offer hands on support, financial support will also help facilitate clean up, food, shelter, and other emergency services. This will be a long-term effort that will last for many months to rebuild a community where family can once again thrive. BRIDGES is always in need of people to help with projects.
