How WorldBridges shipping works

Every shipment — domestic or cross-border — moves through the same five steps, whether you book on the website, from your dashboard, or through the API.

1

Get a rate

Enter origin, destination, weight, and dimensions. We return a price, currency, and transit-day range for every service level in one call — the same rating engine behind POST /v1/rates.

2

Book & print a label

Confirm the rate and we generate one shipping label with a WorldBridges tracking number. For cross-border lanes, customs paperwork is generated in the same step.

3

Pickup & linehaul

The parcel is collected and moves through our network toward the destination country. Cross-border lanes route through pre-cleared crossings so the parcel doesn't wait at the border.

4

Customs clearance

Duties are estimated at booking, not guessed at the door. Declared value and category travel with the label, so clearance happens without a second document or a second carrier.

5

Delivered & tracked

One tracking number covers the whole journey. Recipients see city-level location and status on the public tracking page; your systems can read the same event stream from GET /v1/tracking/{number}.
